Player Guide/In-Game Chat Commands: Difference between revisions

These are the player-facing in-game chat commands the VRS bot listens for. Type them in the DCS chat window (usually Enter opens chat) - the bot uses the - prefix, then the command name, then any arguments.

Example: type -credits in chat to see your credit balance.

Notation

<arg> - required argument
[arg] - optional argument
Admin-only chat commands (kick, ban, restart, etc.) are role-gated and not documented here.

Profile + help

Command	Description
`-help`	The help command
`-linkme`	link your user to Discord
`-911`	send an alert to admins (misuse will be punished!)

Server + mission info

Command	Description
`-timeleft`	Time to the next restart
`-atis`	display ATIS information
`-coalition`	displays your current coalition
`-password` (aliases: `-passwd`)	displays the coalition password

Credits

Command	Description
`-credits <server>`	Shows your current credits
`-donate`	Donate credits to another player
`-tip`	Tip a GCI with points

Voting

Command	Description
`-vote`	start a voting or vote for a change

Acknowledgement + penalty

Command	Description
`-ack`	acknowledge a user message
`-forgive`	forgive a teammate who hit or killed you, cancelling their pending penalty. Time-limited (about 15 minutes after the incident).
`-penalty`	displays your current penalty points on demand
